If you’ve ever been to Philly, one of the attractions that many people visit are the Cheesesteak restaurants on the south side.  Pat’s and Geno’s, across the street from each other, are at the “ground zero” for cheesesteaks.  Well, it seems that Geno’s has put a sign in its window that says: “This is America: When Ordering Please Speak English”.  The City’s Human Relations Commission has sent a cease a desist letter, claiming that the sign discriminates against immigrants.  Geno’s claims freedom of speech.

The commission has suggested mediation and Geno’s attorney seems positive to the approach.  It should be interesting to see if this resolves this constitutional issue.
