Seeking admission to the New Jersey Superior Court’s civil mediation rosters but you received your training more than five years ago or received your 40-hours of basic training out of the state of New Jersey? Are you a member of the court’s Family Mediation Roster and want to join the court’s Civil Mediation Roster?
NJ Court Rule 1:40-12(b)8 provides that candidates for the court’s civil mediation rosters who received their training out of state or more than five years ago take a 6-hour supplemental civil mediation training course approved by the court. Rule 1:40-12(b)1 allows for a member of the Family Mediation Roster to take the 6-hour civil supplemental training (along with the mentoring requirement) to join the Civil Mediation Roster.
